The Casino decor is very conservative, a nice change of pace with other cruise lines and
Princess ships. This Casino is very large with plenty of the usual blackjack, Roulette
tables, slots, etc. Our travelling companion who loves Let-it-Ride™ thought this was
a nice addition to the Casino and played often!
The Wedding Chapel is very nicely decorated, and we did witness a couple taking advantage
of the facilities and the ship for the wedding, reception and being
teased all week by everyone who was a 'witness'.
One of our favorite treats is the Desert Rose Mexican restaurant. Much better than our
first visit on the Grand Princess, the food surpassed all we expected and more. Our
excellent waiter Nicholas and Maitre d' Nathan made sure we had all the fresh
guacamole and salsa (along with a margarita or three) each and every time we visited. Be
sure to stop here for the fajitas and the shrimp!
