Horizon Court Buffet offers the typical fare aboard any Princess ship, we did appreciate
the ice carvings onboard that are seemingly becoming a thing of the past on some cruise
lines.
The Explorer Lounge had nightly singing and dancing, from jazz to top forty and included a
comedian one evening. Very busy in the evening, it's a great hangout while waiting for
dinner.
The Calypso encloseable pool midship was not very active this cruise, we had wonderful
weather for October and people would gravitate to the other three pools located in such a
way to accommodate the 2,600 passengers. Fresh water throughout all pools makes Princess
unique and a favorite for many passengers that tend to dislike saltwater swimming.
The Calypso Pool bar is also one of the best kept secrets onboard as they are generally
slow and can serve up a mean cocktail with a smile at your leisure!
